Originally designed by renowned architect John Bredemus in 1926, this championship layout was redesigned by Carlton Gipson in 1991. Gipson’s recanvassing highlighted the elevation changes and rolling terrain that are unique to the surrounding topography.

In 2021, Braeburn commissioned Tripp Davis & Associates to enhance the design and playability of this venerable gem. Davis’ focus has been restoring this classic parkland layout to its Golden Age heritage, with particular emphasis on added shot-making variety, accessibility for all playing levels, superior playing conditions, and aesthetics that recall this era of design. Players will appreciate that the course layout—with the seamless proximity of its thoughtfully-conceived green and tee complexes— invites a walking-friendly experience. And with the addition of Northbridge Bermuda fairways and tees, Mini-Verde greens, and state-of-the art irrigation and drainage infrastructure, Braeburn’s membership will enjoy the heightened playing conditions afforded by pristine course conditions.
