A Club to Call Your Own

Where Golf, Family & Belonging Come Together

At BraeBurn Country Club, membership is about more than where you play golf, dine or spend your weekends. It’s about finding a place where you know people—and people know you.

For generations, BraeBurn has brought together families and friends through exceptional golf, meaningful traditions and memorable experiences. Here, a Saturday morning round can turn into lunch with friends, children grow up spending summers at the pool, and familiar faces become lifelong friendships.

Set on 150 beautiful acres in the heart of Houston, BraeBurn offers the character and tradition of an established private club with the welcoming, relaxed spirit of a true community.

This is your club. Your community. Your place to belong.

Originally designed by renowned architect John Bredemus in 1926, this championship layout was redesigned by Carlton Gipson in 1991. Gipson’s recanvassing highlighted the elevation changes and rolling terrain that are unique to the surrounding topography.

In 2021, Braeburn commissioned Tripp Davis & Associates to enhance the design and playability of this venerable gem.

Davis’ focus has been restoring this classic parkland layout to its Golden Age heritage, with particular emphasis on added shot-making variety, accessibility for all playing levels, superior playing conditions, and aesthetics that recall this era of design. Players will appreciate that the course layout—with the seamless proximity of its thoughtfully-conceived green and tee complexes— invites a walking-friendly experience. And with the addition of Northbridge Bermuda fairways and tees, Mini-Verde greens, and state-of-the art irrigation and drainage infrastructure, Braeburn’s membership will enjoy the heightened playing conditions afforded by pristine course conditions.

The BraeBurn Experience

BraeBurn is proudly golf-focused and family-centered.

Our members enjoy championship golf, racquets, fitness, swimming, exceptional dining and a vibrant calendar of social and family programming—all within an environment where genuine connections come naturally.

What truly distinguishes BraeBurn, however, isn’t simply what we offer. It’s how it feels to be here.

It’s being greeted by name. It’s an impromptu dinner with friends after a round. It’s watching your children make friendships of their own. It’s traditions shared across generations and new memories waiting to be made.

At BraeBurn, there is always a reason to come to the Club—and someone you’re happy to see when you arrive.

Come Experience BraeBurn

Our members are the heart of BraeBurn, and the continued strength of our Club comes from members introducing friends, colleagues and families who share an appreciation for the traditions, camaraderie and sense of community that make BraeBurn special.

Prospective members are introduced to the Club through current BraeBurn members and are encouraged to experience the Club as their guest.

Membership at BraeBurn begins with a relationship.

The best way to understand BraeBurn is to experience it.
Play a round. Join friends for dinner. Spend an afternoon at the pool. Bring the family to an event. Walk through the Club and discover the warmth, energy and sense of belonging that have made BraeBurn special for generations.

If you know a BraeBurn member, we invite you to ask them about their experience and arrange an introduction to the Club.

We look forward to welcoming the next generation of members who will become part of the BraeBurn story.
